Hi Everyone out there in pod land. U@L #26 is here but I have to say, it’s not the greatest. I thought of the name for this episode before we started shooting and little did I realize that it’s parenthetical title would be an omen of the podcast.
Basically this one kinda sucks and I have no one to blame but myself.
I tried some bare bones recording for this shoot because of our location (the middle of a lake) and unfortunately the quality suffered. I should have come prepared with some sound equipment to record the audio separately but I didn’t.
Oh well. Live and Learn as they say. The video came out great unfortunately the sound on this one… Not so much. Despite my efforts to clean it up I just couldn’t get a clean audio for the bulk of the podcast.
But anyway, if you can tolerate the wind and boat noise in the background it’s a good interview with my friend Jeff who will be embarking on a bit of an adventure soon. The Gaybor Robert and Bus Driver Bob make a guest appearance too. If you decide to mute it and just look at all the shirtless guys that’s ok too. I won’t hate ya.
Fortunately I did find something that I hope will put a smile on your face for the end of the video as I added another Adventures on the Internet segment. There is only one person on the planet who I think won’t appreciate this edition of AOTI but hey, I can’t please the world.
Anyway, enjoy what you can of this podcast. The next one I promise will be of better quality.

U@L is back (finally) after a long break. What was I up to for 2 months? You’ll have to check out the podcast to see. November and December found Marvin to be a busy boy. I was even accused of being a “Circuit Bear.” Imagine that. Also, the Cold from Hell managed to put me down for the better part of December and into the New Year.
I’m finally feeling almost back to normal now and it’s time to start cranking out the podcasts again. I made up for the hiatus by packing in some extra stuff into this one. (It’s 35 minutes long!) I’m actually pretty proud of this one so I think it’ll be worth the download time.

Hi All,

Episode #22 of U@L ushers the show into the fall season with a trip out to the Corn Maze in Kent, WA with a small group of bears. Then from there we fly across the country to America’s flaccid wiener state, Florida, to take a glimpse at some of the goings on at Bear Bust 2008.

With the 2008 Presidential election just days away, we feature another short from Robert Greenwald’s Brave New Films focusing on the organization called Acorn that has been getting alot of negative press thanks to the false allegations of the McCain/Palin campaign. This short from brave new films helps to set the record straight where the main stream media has failed to do so.

Also, in support of www.BraveNewFilms.com Marvin showcases the short film “The Real McCain” and talks about why he thinks, John McCain is a LYING SACK OF CRAP. (Well I don’t think it, I know it, the video proof is right there.)

A controversial argument, as one against some opinion, doctrine, etc.

It’s the Gay Pride video. This year the parade was a bit of a dud. More corporate than community, but Seattle’s Pride Foundation has had it’s share or controversy over the years and it’s affected the celebration.

Not to be left behind with the controversy, in the run up to Kamp Kodiak this year the NW Bears stir up a little bit of their own.
